Ann Coulter Spews a Death Threat

| Sean, you really know how to pick ‘em! |
Conservative commentator Ann Coulter, speaking
at a traditionally black college, joked that Justice John Paul Stevens should
be poisoned. Coulter had told the Philander Smith College audience Thursday
that more conservative justices were needed on the Supreme Court to change the
current law on abortion. Stevens is one of the court’s most liberal members.
"We need somebody to put rat poisoning in Justice Stevens’ creme
brulee," Coulter said. "That’s just a joke, for you in the media."

Jokes About Poisoning Justice
Insert laugh track. Cue the the rim shot.
Why is it that Ann Coulter gets away with this crap?
Pat Robertson has become the poster boy for the religious wackjobs
on the right. So, why does Ann Coulter get a pass? As ReddHedd
brings up, this broad is actually a licensed attorney. If you threaten a public
official, let alone a sitting Supreme Court Justice, in some states this is
not only illegal, but it’s a felony.
Ken doll Sean Hannity has Coulter on as a regular guest on Fox.
He condones her language, encourages her witless wonkery, not to mention gives
her platform where her vile hate speech against anyone left of Attila the Hun
is encouraged.
Taking this a step further, where is the ABA? Where are other
attorneys in this mix? If Coulter is licensed, even though she doesn’t practice
law currently, shouldn’t she take some heat from her fellow lawyers? It’s simply
not good enough to say she’s an idiot and not worth our time, because she’s
a main get on the conservative lecture circuit coming to a college near you, not to mention a darling of the right.
"Constitutional lawyer" is often splashed below Coulter’s
name whenever she appears on cable as a disembodied talking head. Well, if she’s
going to use her credentials to pump up her opinions, then someone in the legal
community should respond. If you’re going to claim you are a lawyer, a constitutional
attorney at that, then you should have to abide by the standards of the profession or lose your right to tout your attorney creds.
Constitution attorney, or is Ann Coulter just another conservative cliterati celebrity
slut allowed to spew death threats at will?
