… The Washington Post reported
yesterday that McCain had hired Terry Nelson to be a senior advisor to
his political committee, the Straight Talk America PAC. Who is Terry Nelson?
……But there's one crucial, telling detail about Terry
Nelson that the Post leaves out. And that's his role in the money laundering
scheme for which Tom DeLay
is being prosecuted down in Texas.… Nelson was the deputy chief of staff of the Republican
National Committee in 2002 when the alleged crime occurred. His role was crucial,
although he hasn't been charged. He's named
right there in the indictment. …
Senator Suck Up is making all the right moves. He wants to be
just like Bush. After all, if he can get the same outcome, he can finally rule
the world.
It's ironic that while Russ Feingold keeps stepping out on principal.
Senator John McCain is inching upward, coming closer to being the Bush clone
only a true successor can be.
Bush has got his mini-me. The once mighty maverick John McCain
is nothing but a mirror image. He's even hiring Bush cronies so close that they
even have ties to Tom Delay.
Can you imagine Russ Feingold, Jack Murtha or Al Gore hiring a
Tom Delay crony?
The bigger they are, the harder they fall. McCain is nothing but
a Bush wannabe these days, mini-me, a fraction of his former straight talking self. It's truly sad.
