I'm always thrilled when I get an ad, but the BlogAd for Donna
Edwards gives me particular glee. It's in the right hand margin, at the
top, in case you missed it. I met her during Take Back America in early June.
She is as sharp as any female pol I've ever met, but much more transparent and
righteous, with little or no pretense.

In fact, I interviewed her one day at Take Back America (see Feingold & more TBA), but there was so much
noise I, unfortunately, had to ditch the audio. But boy did this lady have here
patter down. She also had passion. She wants this job.

I've never raised money for a candidate online before, but
Donna Edwards and Ned
Lamont, as well as James Webb
and Claire McCaskill are the first
candidates I'm hoping to help, with your involvement. Almost forgot, Jon Tester, too! I've been behind Lamont
since Jane Hamsher of firedoglake
kicked his candidacy into serious range of beating Lieberman by taking the women's
groups to task. There will be more.

I've now created an ActBlue
page. Let's see if we can raise some cash. I don't care if you can only give
$5.00. I encourage you to do whatever you can. We'll just raise money one dollar at a time if we have to. Fine by me.
