“Mass Casualty Call” in Iraq
CNN has just reported that a truck bomb has hit a combat outpost of American soldiers
in Iraq. Two soldiers are dead and over 29 wounded, with a “mass casualty
call” going out from the hospital that treats our soldiers. This is as
bad as it gets in terms of casualties, because you don't hear a call like this
unless a lot of soldiers have been hit.
