How Bad is the Nevada Democratic Party?
Read this. It was a comment to this
post, which obviously deserves the full frontal treatment and requires no
explanation at all. Neither does this post.
Mind you, this is a group who couldn\’t even beat Jim Gibbons, you know, the
guy now targeted by the F.B.I., but before that hid his housekeeper in the basement,
but before that was accused of being a pervert. I\’d mention the empty suited
Mr. Ensign, but that would just be piling on.

Taylor, the Nevada State Democratic Party is not only lazy, they have MAJOR
leadership problems as does Clark County!Here\’s the back story to why I\’ve abdicated and become a Non-Partisan / Independent…
…during the last NSDP Convention, Tom Collins barely won the election to
the State Chairmanship…Tom Collins actually walked into the GLBT Caucus and insulted everyone by
saying they had victumized themselves by choosing their deviant life-style!When asked about separation of Church and State, Collins openly admitted
\”he follows his church!\”Then, he had the audacity to say \”that the reason the Democratic Party
became divided and destroyed was because of the women and their ERA movement!\”I, and many others, witnessed these comments and can attest to their veracity
– Tom Collins is a D.I.N.O. and a bully!Immediately after the election, Liz Foley, the Clark County Chair that supported
Collins election, immediately \”purged into political purgatory\”
everyone on the State Central Committee List that supported the opposition
candidate Marcia deBraga – it was blatant political pay-back!When people tried to object, Liz Foley had her 1st Vice-Chair, Justin Gilbert,
order the microphones turned off – denying people their right to participate
in the political process, and rudely ordered people to \”get back in your
chairs and sit down and shut up!\”I was shocked to witness this in America, in Nevada, in Las Vegas!
Since then, Tom Collins and Liz Foley have done everything they could to
undermine the Democratic Clubs, Activists Caucus and hold onto power at all
costs – it isn\’t about people – it\’s all about their personal power!With NSDP Elections nearing, now, everyone has to prove they have been attending
meetings in order to get \”credentialed\” so they can vote! Even long
standing, well known, active members are being challenged!Again, it\’s about disenfranchizing the opposition even if it means completly
ignoring basic Democratic Principals!Hopefully, the Progressives will be able to recover and field a new candidate
that can beat Tom Collins and put the NSDP back on the path of \”Determined
Democrats Doing The People\’s Business in accordance with the PRINCIPALS of
Democracy!\”It needs to be an \”A-B-C\” campaign – \”Anybody But Collins!\”
Then, Clark County needs to clean house as well!
We need a revolution AND a reformation in the Nevada State Democratic Party
and every County level Democratic Party as well!
