Tentative Deal with North Korea
Bolton is gone and now we get progress. It\’s only the beginning, but it simply
had to get done. Maybe that\’s why Bolton was on TV blathering about how it was
such bad news. As usual, he\’s wrong, but it is only the beginning.
“This is only one phase of denuclearization,” he said. “We’re
not done.”Indeed, the task of forcing North Korea to agree to a schedule and process
for turning over its existing nuclear weapons and fuel has not yet been addressed.
North Korea was in dire straights.
Mr. Bush is weak as a newborn rat.
Something is better than nothing.
