If Hillary wins, I will be respectful of our leader. If you could read my
thoughts, I would be on the SS [Secret Service] watch list.
This isn’t simply hate. It’s a threat to Clinton’s life.
Well, somebody evidently picked up on it and alerted the Secret Service. Now
they’re reportedly looking into what the Sam Hill is going on
at BillO’Reilly.com. Lane Hudson, an outraged liberal with plenty of company
on this one, has the details, because he’s
the guy who called them.
This type of talk, insinuating that the Secret Service would put a Clinton
hater on their watch list, didn’t happen in a vacuum. Wingnut radio has encouraged this type of rhetoric against the Clintons for well over a decade. However, the worst Clinton hater is Sean Hannity. He’s
been smearing and defaming the Clintons since they came into the spotlight, as has Rush and the
other wingnuts. But Hannity’s hate is stratospheric. It was also encouraged by the likes of the late Rev. Falwell, who openly called President Bill Clinton a murderer, as did Rush. Last week on “Hannity’s
America,” he dredged up yet another fantasy “Clinton Chapter,”
which focused on Vince Foster’s “mysterious” death. It’s only mysterious
if you ignore the facts. As everyone with any credibility whatsoever knows,
Foster killed himself. It was investigated ad nauseam. There is no mystery left,
that is unless you’re a wingnut.
The targeting of candidate Clinton on O’Reilly’s web site is what happens when
this hate is encouraged. It’s not funny. It’s dangerous. O’Reilly is a purveyor of this stuff, as is Fox “News,” which is ground zero for people like Dick Morris and Ann Coulter. “The folks” are being used and abused, as O’Reilly peddles his hate. He’s now being fully exposed.
