Obama and Stewart

Honestly, I don’t know how long this YouTube will be available, but I thought
I’d post it. The interview is also up at Comedy Central’s Indecision 2008. (I tried to imbed their code but it just didn’t work.)

Obama has a lot of young people coming to his events, as I’ve seen first hand
myself. However, one of the things we learned is that young people don’t always
come out to vote in primaries. That’s a challenge for the campaign.

Loved the "pot head" line from Stewart. Talking about being stuck
in a narrative is right on. Obama’s smile and ease in front of the camera is
honest and a gift. I’ve said it before, but he’s
simply a natural.
Needless to say, his line about Dick Cheney is priceless
and right on the mark. But at the end Stewart talks about experience, Obama versus Clinton: “I don’t think First Lady counts, does it?” Priceless. Judgment, common sense and how do we get things done, that’s Obama’s bottom line. It seems to be working with many, many people.

What do you think?
