This is the guy who went after MoveOn.org for an ad? But evidently Mr. Boehner doesn’t believe dying for the Iraqis is a big enough price to pay for Iraq. Dismemberment
isn’t either. Yeah, especially when it’s not your life or limb
that’s being lost. Where do Republicans find these guys?
Another beauty surfaced today as well. Admiral
Fallon on General David Petraeus:
Fallon told Petraeus [in March] that he considered him to be “an ass-kissing
little chickensh*t” and added, “I hate people like that”,
the sources say. That remark reportedly came after Petraeus began the meeting
by making remarks that Fallon interpreted as trying to ingratiate himself
with a superior.
Senator James Webb is now seeking Fallon’s testimony. Let’s see how the Pentagon gets out of this one and whether Bush can keep it from happening.
