This weekend Sean Hannity will continue the Iran tag team match started by Joe Lieberman this week through the Lieberman-Kyl legislation. The saber rattling on Iran continues to no one’s benefit, certainly not ours. The above video was the kick off for Iraq, the sequel; Iran or bust. That Kirsten Powers is co-hosting the discussion makes the “debate” all the more insane.
We’ll talk a lot about the debate last night, including Clinton’s comment on torture, which has now been strengthened by the campaign. It goes against what she’s said previously and puts her in a competing position with her husband. She’s right, by the way.
Upon reflection and after meeting with former Generals and others, Senator Clinton does not believe that we should be making narrow exceptions to this policy based on hypothetical scenarios.
Let’s just say no to torture and be done with it, shall we?
