This
is rich, especially coming from Bill Sammon. He’s the guy who fed Bush
that last question in his press conference last week about MoveOn.org. Teeing
it up right before Bush was going off the scene so no follow ups would be asked.
As for Obama, a senior White House official said the freshman senator from
Illinois was “capable” of the intellectual rigor needed to win the
presidency but instead relies too heavily on his easy charm.“It’s sort of like, ‘that’s all I need to get by,’ which bespeaks sort
of a condescending attitude towards the voters,” said the official, speaking

They’ve smeared Edwards with haircuts and haciendas. Now it’s Obama’s turn
I guess. Meanwhile, team Obama is cranking
the pressure up in Iowa. If he can dislodge Edwards and win Iowa it could
shake up the race significantly. Obama’s first ad just went up
in New Hampshire.
