Bush Says No to Kids

Taylor Marsh LIVE!
3:00 p.m. eastern – 12:00 pacific
Missed the show? Podcast is up.

SHOW NOTE: The show was very interesting, including news that Barack Obama is skipping a big barbecue this weekend in Iowa, where all of the other candidates will be. This seems to be a pattern. In addition, Chase brings news that Thompson imploded in Iowa, actually lambasting Sen. Chuck Grassley on his home turf. Boggles the mind.

If it’s Wednesday, it’s Iowa. Chase Martyn is scheduled to be on the show at the top of the hour talking about the latest news from the primary state.

We’ll then be talking about Rush Limbaugh’s continuing implosion. Interesting that Rush wants to talk to Harry Reid, but won’t accept the challenges from the many veterans who asked Rush to call them “phony soldiers” to their face. Says a lot about the man, doesn’t it?

But I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Bush’s veto today of a program that would have expanded children’s health insurance by $35 billion over five years. Stick a dagger in “compassionate conservatism.” It’s dead. Please sign the petition on behalf of kids and all the families that will be effected by Bush’s callousness.

“Dear Representative,

Unless you act to overturn President Bush’s veto, 10 million children will lose their health coverage. Our children count on us to protect them. We expect our elected leaders to remember that. I strongly urge you to override President Bush’s veto of health care for America’s children.”

Families USA

Lots to talk about.

Hope you can join me.
