Reid Pulls Telecom Bill

Majority Leader Harry Reid has just pulled the FISA bill from consideration in this session. It will be brought up at some point next month.
Without Senator Dodd’s leadership today, it is safe to assume that retroactive immunity would have passed. … ..
Constitution Protected…For Now

Oh, snap.

Well played Senator Dodd. He was ready to filibuster, but he didn’t have to,
because Reid pulled the FISA bill. It will be brought back to the floor after
the recess. Hopefully the telecom immunity portion will be stripped when it is.

Senator Russ Feingold played a big roll in this action as well.
