This is why I remain a “Countdown” viewer. It is an important
show for me even amidst the developing bias that has shown up over the last
weeks. It will remain so. Because when push comes to shove, Olbermann knows
what is needed and does the right thing without any caveats. Olbermann has also been there and spoken out on many important issues that mean a lot to a vast majority of Americans, in the midst of terrible political abuses by Republicans, building up a trust reserve over the years.
Just maybe this
whole nasty business has awakened people to what we expect and need from journalists
and anchors, especially independent voices like Keith Olbermann. In the end I truly believe Olbermann is one of the good guys. He proved it with this comment.
