Obama Blog Targets Talk Left

Well, what
do you think about this
? If only SNL could do a similar piece on The Progressive Village, those genuflecting Obama blogs that are presently on full scale attack.

And so it begins. One of Obama’s male ringmasters has decided to openly go after Talk Left, citing this
post by Jeralyn
.

Who’s really picking our Democratic nominee? If it’s the Democratic
youth or African American voters, I’m okay with that. That’s fair.
If it’s Republicans, I’m not. We’ll get trounced in November.Without
reliable stats to show Obama’s support is from those who will for the
Democrat in November, I’d say the best way to ensure Republicans stay
out of our race and don’t steal another election from us is for Dems
to vote for Hillary to be the nominee.

Mind you, I got an email from this very same sexist Obama blogger, no
link coming from here so see Pamela
, telling me to tone down my rhetoric,
because I would not “ever recover” from the position I’m taking on Obama:

I really feel like you are going to regret the direction you’re are going
with Obama. I sincerely hope you take a moment to consider what you’re doing.
It’s not something you will ever recover from in the black or hispanic community
online. I’m getting a lot of mail, and it isn’t good, it’s heartbreaking.
And you should know that you are breaking people’s hearts…some of your biggest
fans. Out of respect, I’m not going to say anything, but I am tremendously
disappointed. Very, very, very upset about your take on this.

Best regards.. ..

I get emails from unhinged Obama fans every day telling me to tone it down, so I wasn’t surprised as much as amused by the audacity of his arrogance. What these people don’t
understand is that my reporting on Obama often has nothing to do with Clinton.
It’s my objection to Barack Obama, who is represented by the most heinous form
of sexism I’ve seen in decades, all coming from the progressive males in the
Democratic party. The fish rots from the head, baby.

Obama campaign adviser: Obama ‘doesn’t go on television and have crying
fits; he isn’t discovering his voice at the age of 60.’ – Air
Force Gen. Merrill “Tony” McPeak
(Los Angeles Times, 2/2/08)

“We saw tears in response to her appearance. So her appearance brought
her to tears, but not Hurricane Katrina.” – Jesse
Jackson Jr. remarks on MSNBC

“I understand that Senator Clinton, periodically when she’s feeling
down, launches attacks as a way of trying to boost her appeal.” – Barack
Obama

“They like you when you`re down 20 points, but when you start actually
challenging the status quo, then suddenly the claws come out.” – Barack
Obama

Obama: ‘Hillary’s experience is ‘presumed through osmosis,
as a consequence of having been first lady.’ “Sen. Clinton keeps
touting her experience, but has no management experience that I can see in
her resume. It’s presumed through osmosis, as a consequence of having been
first lady.” (San
Francisco Chronicle
ed board, 1/18/08)

“You’re likeable enough, Hillary.” – Barack Obama, New Hampshire
debate

“It’s that experience, that understanding, not just of what world
leaders I went and talked to in the ambassadors house I had tea with, but
understanding the lives of the people like my grandmother who lives in a tiny
hut in Africa.” – Barack Obama (ABC News Political Radar, 12/28/07)

“In an interview with NBC, Obama scoffed at the New York Democrat’s
complaint that she was being forced to ‘compete in the all-boys club’
of presidential politics, saying he would never use his race — Obama is black
— to shield him from political attacks.” – Barack Obama (Los Angeles
Times, 11/3/07)

That is what has finally
been revealed. The covert sexism has obviously always been there, but now it’s
out in the open. That it’s predicated on our support for Hillary Clinton is obvious, made more so by their inability to be fair to Clinton, whether it’s overt sexism, out right lies, more lies (see update in that link), though the list is endless by now. That it comes from deep within the progressive wing of the Democratic party, an organization
that is supposed to support women’s equality, is not lost on those of us who
have been the target of Obama and his maniacal, verbally violent fans.

Of course, Jeralyn’s saying what I’ve said many times before, which is important.
Who’s picking
our nominee?

Based on exit polls, among the approximately 16.3 million people who identified
themselves as Democrats, over 678,000 more voted for Hillary Clinton than
Barack Obama. If we’re going to “let the people decide” who
the Democratic nominee would be, shouldn’t we be basing that on the
will of Democrats themselves? … ..

The Obamabots don’t won’t facts, they demand loyalty, genuflection, subservience.

But here’s one question I get that I thought you’d like to see: How can
you be such a positive advocate for progressive politics and yet allow your
site to be consumed by hate for other liberal candidates?
First, I don’t
“hate” Obama. Secondly, the answer is simple and obvious, but evidently
people are too dense to read the information I’ve been posting for over a year
to make an assessment of what I’ve been saying and reporting. Much of my reporting has been equated simply to my partisan choice of being for Hillary Clinton. That’s only part of the answer, which I thought would be obvious by now. So once and for
all let me answer it for you: Barack Obama is not qualified to be president,
including on matters of character. I don’t care if he’s calling himself a progressive,
a liberal, or the second coming of Elmer Gantry. It’s not about “hate.”
It’s not about pushing only the candidacy of Hillary Clinton. I just don’t think
he’s got what it takes to win in November, let alone lead this nation representing
Democratic party principles, which Obama has already said are less important
to him than bringing people together. Alarm bells, people.

But the Obamabots say, “Get on board!” Get in line. If Obama
is the nominee, they should prepare for a rude awakening.
