When Biden Did It Plagiarism was the Charge updated

During a
conference call this morning
, Howard Wolfson had this to say. Via
Mark Halperin
:

“If you’re going to be talking about the value of words, the words ought
to be your own.” – Howard Wolfson

This is no small point.

Is this really what Democrats want? Rush Limbaugh had a good laugh at Obama
today on his radio show. It’s nothing compared to the other things Democrats
will face if Obama is the nominee. See Larry
Johnon’s follow up on Rashid Khalidi for a preview
.

This morning, Ed Schultz tried to help Obama out. Schultz was evidently on the media call yesterday. But to hear him talk about it today, he was more a twitter about being privy to questions from Andrea Mitchell. Makes you wonder if this guy has ever done a media call in his life. Pure amateur stuff from Schultz today.

Obama in radio interview with Ed Schultz: “My friend Governor Deval Patrick — he and I, we exchange ideas and words all the time. I used a riff he has used before. That’s the extent of it.”

Yep, Obama’s worried. You don’t answer stuff like this if it’s not hitting a nerve. Truth is, he thought he was going to get away with it.

UPDATE: Via The SwampObama became a bit defensive when asked by a reporter whether his words were his own. I bet.
