You asked for it, so here it is. We’ll start having several every day, including an early morning east coast wake up, meets sleepy west coast coffee edition. Open thread in honor of “two-bit” politicians. Think Progress broke the story, but a little digging turns up that the insult is reportedly directed at a “foreign contractor,” not a U.S. soldier. I’m not crazy about private military contractors, but they’re not “two-bit” either, considering that our troops are stretched to the max, and without them our soldiers would be screwed.
