“A lead for Senator Clinton,” says MSNBC. This doesn’t mean it’s close.
I’ve got to say that the idiot pundit award so far goes to Andrea Mitchell,
and that’s going some considering what
Russert’s been saying tonight. Talking about the Clinton camp fear factor
is like pulling storylines out of her patoot hoping something will stick. Obviously,
Mrs. Greenspan has taken to channeling Drudge.
But too close to call?
Cities come in first. Small towns later. Early exits favor Obama, which we
knew. Clinton counties won’t come in until later.
The other issue Barone over at Fox “News” touched on: exit poll numbers are inflated with regard to people saying they’re voting for Obama. Without real numbers no one can call it, because nothing is matching up. Take that for what it’s worth; it’s Fox.
So ignore Mitchell. She’s pulling her information from the sky, basically making
it up as she goes along. Bottom line: Everyone wants to be the first to say
Hillary’s done. They’re trying to beat each other in getting in front of it, even though there’s absolutely no evidence at this point.
So who’s your choice for worst on the cable airwaves so far? Bob Beckel should
be in there somewhere.
