The Big Dog is Back

Did he ever leave? Well, now it’s been given a name. Billification.
Obviously, with Rep. Clyburn’s reaction to WJC, you can bet the Obama campaign
is a bit, let’s just say restless after getting creamed in Pennsylvania. But to have Clyburn out spinning the absolute lie that Hillary Clinton wants to scuttle Obama so she can come back and run again in 2012 is so desperate that is should come with a laugh track. That cable talking heads are regurgitating it makes it clear that the morphing of Keith Olbermann into MSNBC’s Bill O’Reilly is complete.
I wonder if Speaker Pelosi is behind Clyburn’s newfound meddling? That’s a whole ‘nother subject.
Unfortunately
for Clyburn, who had previously earned the respect and stature he has in the Democratic
party only to now squander it, his interview with Keith he is no Edward R. Murrow Olbermann,
was also tell on Obama’s plan for North Carolina, which is obviously going to be a mirror campaign of their race baiting in
South Carolina, scapegoating Bill Clinton to get the job done. Only this time we know what to expect and it’s not going to
work. Besides, no one wants to hear this type of hype, unless you’re happy with channeling Obama talking points, which are nothing short of destructive to Democrats. Clyburn rattling the race cage
yesterday simply doesn’t help anyone, certainly not Democrats. It may get headlines from the Washington Post, see Bob Herbert and this defenseless opining, which inspired this headline today, but it doesn’t make the storyline true.
Which brings me to a question. Why is race baiting considered okay, as is out
right sexism, while Clinton’s supporters are basically being called racists
for supporting Hillary? Bill Clinton is having none of it. For the record, I’m not either.
But make no mistake about it, William Jefferson Clinton is front and center.
Got a problem with that? If you’re an Obama blogger, obviously, yes. That’s
because getting rid of all things Clinton has become as important to some Democrats
as selecting a nominee, even if the one people are pushing is losing altitude like a fat lady jumping off a cliff.
