The Debate Definitely Freaked Howard Dean

That’s the only thing that can explain the reaction from him reported by CNN.

An increasingly firm Howard Dean told CNN again Thursday that he needs superdelegates
to say who they’re for – and “I need them to say who they’re
for starting now.”

“We cannot give up two or three months of active campaigning and healing
time,” the Democratic National Committee Chairman told CNN’s Wolf
Blitzer. “We’ve got to know who our nominee is.”

Here’s the DNC contact form,
you might want to send Dr. Dean a little missive. Be polite. But let him know
what’s on your mind. After all, Pennsylvania is not until Tuesday. It’s a pretty
big day in the scheme of things. So it’s not exactly time yet to start pronouncing
a deadline.

As for “healing time,” the only solution is to let it play out. Otherwise
(taking myself out of this equation), feelings are going to get even
more raw than they are today, if that’s possible.
