I’ll be on the Radio Factor today at 12:15 eastern time, in just a few minutes. Doug McIntyre is sitting
in for Bill-O.
There’s been a progressive ban on all things Fox for a very long
time, for good reasons. But I walked away from that strategy when the only fair press Clinton was
getting came on Fox. That doesn’t mean they’ll be “fair and balanced”
to the Democrats during the general election. Because we all know that Brit
Hume and company are conservatives. But including Juan Williams, Fox has been
fair to Clinton, which is where my prism of judgment lies right now. The interview
Hillary gave with Bill-O was one of the best she did all primary season. I’m
sure Barack Obama will show up there very soon. He said he would after the primary
season. Everything’s open territory during the general election, which we simply
must win. Doug and I’ll be talking about Hillary and where her supporters go now. I
know I don’t speak for you, but I’ve been a hub for all things Hillary, which
won’t change for me going forward, so people are asking how everyone is feeling.
It’s my impression of what’s going on. But I’m certainly not the spokesperson
for Hillaryland.
A little more on the
big sit down last night:
“I can speak, I think, for Senator Clinton. She wants to do everything
she can to bring the party together,” Mrs. Feinstein said. “She
wants to do everything she can to see the people who voted for her have their
voices heard and that’s reflected in credentials, platform. And she
wants to have a working relationship with Senator Obama, and I think it’s
a very positive thing.” …Mrs. Feinstein said she did not need to urge Mrs. Clinton to hold a meeting.
“I didn’t urge anybody to do anything. I know it’s a natural
instinct. People, particularly in this case because Hillary represents a very
large block of voters — the largest ever for anybody that has come in
No. 2, and has the popular vote. She is I think desirous of protecting the
issues that she cares about to the extent she can, seeing that the people
are represented in this administration and certainly in the convention. And
also to help with the ticket, and I know she feels that way because we have
talked about this.”
According to The New York Times, Senator Feinstein was asked if she
heard “shouting.” Seriously? Where do they get these reporters?
