Speaker Pelosi Can’t be Bothered with Sexism

BY TAYLOR MARSH

Well this comes as no surprise. During the primaries when Hillary was getting pilloried, the vaunted first female Speaker of the House remained mute. Now we know why.

“I myself find that I get a tremendous upside from being a woman and I don’t spend a lot of time worrying about sexist remarks that people make.”Speaker Nancy Pelosi

Of course you don’t, Nancy. You’re too busy allowing Steny Hoyer to run the House for you. Now just go over there and be a good little girl while Steny and his bunch hand immunity to the telecom companies.

And don’t you say a word about it, you hear?

Honestly, Speaker Pelosi is feckless. Nothing done on the Iraq war. Now she caves in and let’s Steny run wild on FISA. What good is it having our first woman Speaker of the House if she’s even more ineffectual than a man? If she ignores what women trying to break through are living with across this country? Her flippant remarks today on sexism are a disgrace.
