…zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…. Oh, sorry, wake up.
Thank you for your continuing support as we have worked together to build
the strongest Democratic ticket possible. Since April, tens of thousands of
Vote Both supporters have petitioned, called, and written letters to the Obama
campaign. And Senator Obama heard your enthusiasm and arguments for Senator
Clinton and her leadership.Because of your work, Senator Obama asked Hillary to be his keynote speaker
at the Democratic National Convention! We hope you are as pleased as we are
that he has tapped Senator Clinton to deliver one of the most important messages
of that crucial week—the very role that Barack Obama had four years
ago.Regretfully, this means that Senator Hillary Clinton is no longer under consideration
as Senator Obama’s running mate….(from VoteBoth website)
I don’t know if any of you saw Tim Kaine last night on “Charlie Rose,”
but he sure didn’t look like any “smokescreen”
to me. Of course, I have no idea what Obama and his team are thinking, nor does
anyone else. However, last night Kaine talked like someone campaigning to be
on the ticket. However, he’s been a loyal booster for Obama from the start,
so it isn’t outrageous to think he’s trying to throw everyone a curve for the
team.
The latest scuttlebutt is Gov. Sebelius. First, she can’t deliever Kansas,
so it’s got to be about something else if she’s the one. She also didn’t accumulate
18 million votes either. Talking to people in her state and also in Missouri,
the only thing I came away with from everyone is that watching her is like watching
paint dry. Hey, but she’s competent. Can’t have everything. Obama can more than
supply the flash.
Let’s just understand that if Sebelius gets the nod it’s unlikely that Clinton
supporters will react positively. However, the anti Obama zealots won’t be happy
with anyone, because they’re still in fantasyland of Clinton being the nominee.
It must be exhausting.
So, what are your thoughts about Sebelius? Serve it up.
