Obama Team to McCain-Palin: Stop the ‘Suppressive Activities’

BY TAYLOR MARSH

The Obama media call on voter registration was tough, with the Obama team not
giving an inch. Politico quotes Plouffe on Fox: “We understand that Fox News Channel is turning themselves into the 24-hour ACORN channel.” Podcasts are available of the call, which I recorded.

“The McCain campaign has been pretty clear. They don’t want to talk
about the economy. … They’re throwing anything at the way to try to create
a diversion. …” – David Plouffe

Distract.

Distract.

Distract.

And to that point, Sarah Palin was interviewed by Rush Limbaugh today lying
again. You could almost hear Rush’s heavy breathing. Palin didn’t waste any
time getting to ACORN.

“This ACORN stuff, it’s unconscionable.” – Sarah Palin on Rush Limbaugh today.

Then Palin said that McCain-Palin had written team Obama about ACORN, but they
had not responded. Wrong. Maybe somebody in the McCain-Palin team should
“check the mail room.” An NPR reporter on the call asked about this very issue. It’s already gotten legs.

“Attacks without facts,” as David Plouffe said on the media call
today. Republicans will do anything to suppress the vote, which is at the heart
of this latest attack.
