“…It drives them nuts that she’s a conservative Republican,” says
Rick Davis.
Bill Bennett continues with something only a conservative, out of touch male
would say. “Let me give you three things that I think drive them crazy,
and you don’t have to comment. That she’s very attractive; that she’s very confident;
or that she’s very happy.”
BZZZZZZZZZZ.
Nope.
Thanks for playing.
First, Sarah Palin is not only attractive, she’s beautiful.
Second, it’s not that she’s a conservative Republican, you know, like Kathleen
Parker or Peggy Noonan.
It’s not that she’s very confident, though that strikes at on element of the
problem. Question: What exactly is she confident about? At this moment in time,
the woman doesn’t know anything relevant to the job she’s trying to attain.
That she remains confident in the midst of her ignorance is masked by her arrogance,
not her confidence.
As for being happy, mazeltov!
What liberal feminists like me think about Sarah Palin is that she would not
only set our civil rights back a century if she had her way to enact policy,
but that she’s not up to the standards for which we’ve fought for two centuries.
One word: equality. This means that we’re treated equal to men, paid equal to
men, not because we’re “attractive… confident… or happy,” but
because we earn it through our skill sets and preparedness.
I can’t wait to hear how Rick and Bill explain this one.
