In the above clip, Paul O’Neill gives the best alternative I’ve heard yet to the monstrosity the Senate passed yesterday, which I remain against.
Now, as is obvious, the Senate took up the vote to embarrass the House into passing it tomorrow. The “serious people” want no part of those mutinous troublemakers in the House.
Mutinous Senate Democrats voting NAY: Johnson, Landrieu, Cantwell, Dorgan, Feingold, Nelson, Stabenow, Tester, Wyden, with Kennedy not voting (for obvious reasons).
My first cocktail tonight will be a toast to them. I think it’s about time for a good mutiny.
UPDATE: Via TIME, bailout vote tomorrow in question.
