President-elect Obama isn’t wasting any time changing the face of the presidency. Using 21st century tools he is updating a tradition that can now reach around the globe, but when any citizen of this country or the world prefers to listen or watch.
Doing a lot of reading and catching up today, looking at a stack of things that seems to be getting larger, not smaller.
One thing I also caught was Joe Scarborough’s “f-bomb” on “Morning Joe.” Having done media for many, many years, I was stunned he didn’t even know he dropped it. Mika was charming, as was Senator Evan Bayh, with Mike Barnicle’s face on the split screen when Joe made the slip. It was priceless, as was Jay Carney’s face. Thank heaven for the ability to tape these things. My version of Saturday morning fun.
