Howard Wolfson made a very good point in his interview on Fox. Bush won white men by 40 points. Obama cut into that margin a good deal.
Remember, these numbers are in flux.
UPDATE IV: Howard Fineman made a comment about PA. He said the heavy Rev. Wright commercials by the GOP might have had a backlash effect.
UPDATE III: Norah O’Donnell just got a message from a GOP pol in North Carolina saying that Liddy Dole would be “swept out” today, meaning a Kay Hagan win. Also, that the composition of the voters in North Carolina is very different than 2004. He called it an “Obama Tsunami.”
UPDATE II: Very early numbers, KY & IND. POLLS; 2 TOUGH RACES in DEEP RED DISTRICTS:
IN-03 (R+16)
Mike Montagano (D)
Rep. Mark Souder (R)KY-02 Open Seat (R+13)
David Boswell (D)
Brett Guthrie (R)
UPDATE: Chuck Todd had an embarrassing moment that he’s going to regret. He was asked about Vigo County Indiana. His response? He hadn’t researched it. Well, Vigo Cty. Indiana has called the presidential election right since 1892, except 1908 and 1952. Chuck won’t live this one down any time soon.
