Well, President-elect Obama and his team, with chief of staff Rahm Emanuel at the gate, are going to be hard charging during business hours, which many days will have no end, no doubt. But I bet a cocktail or two, preceded by an invitation from an adversary, could be enjoyed between people across the aisle from one another now that The Divider and Dick the Destroyer are one step closer to the door.
So, kick back, choose your beverage, and talk about what happened this week, what is about to unfold before us, as well as the holiday season that is about to kick into high gear. (My favorite time of year.)
Cheers to you all. It’s the end of a very long battle, with the beginning of new possibilities on the horizon.
