Friday ‘In the News’ Focus

BY TAYLOR MARSH

As promised, highlighting those who took the time to post over on “In the News.” It’s a great feature where anyone can focus attention on certain stories in the news, publicize their blog, or just rant. Opining is also welcome. To begin, the above video is compliments of Scott, who always knows how to hit a good note. He’s got a great myspace music page you should definitely check out.

Meet Tony Smith at Dissenting Justice blog, who posted for the first time on “In the News.” He’s got a terrific post up on Clinton.

Reader djjl is reading Kissinger.

Reader GeoT highlights a Bob Gates article in Foreign Affairs.

Energy is the focus of reader peregrine’s post, something that falls right in line with Al Gore’s focus on the oxymoron that is “clean coal.”

Betsy is watching Dr. Dobson so you don’t have to.

Audiegirl has her eye on the Franken-Coleman recount. “Here we go again,” says it all. Who knows where we are now?

Thanks to everyone who posted over on “In the News.”

…and I just have to add one that should bring a smile to everyone’s face (upon request from me after she linked it in comments), compliments of reader Velvet, a first time “In the News” poster.
