Clinton’s Farwell After Senator Diaper Casts Only ‘No’ Vote On HRC

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDnYDfhoNM4

It seems fitting that Senator Diaper, aka Vitter, would be the only one on the Senate Foreign Relations committee to oppose Clinton’s confirmation. Anyone who has a diaper fetish isn’t going to be too keen on a strong handed competent woman who doesn’t like her men incontinent.

Let’s also remember the sad tale of the D.C. Madam, of whom Vitter was allegedly a client, who ended her life due to the publicity and scorn heaped on her, while Mr. Vitter lived to continue his work in the Senate so that he could give us the performance he gave recently that had Hillary leveling him with one of her classic if looks could kill gazes. No doubt his diaper had to be changed after that one.

I waited to post on the first of Hillary’s confirmation votes until she’d made her goodbye speech in the Senate, an excerpt of which is above. Her thoughts about 9/11 were moving. “I loved being your senator,” Clinton said to her fellow New Yorkers. No doubt. She also made a hilarious statement, saying that if she ever misses “Chuck,” speaking of Schumer, all she has to do is turn on the television, especially on local New York TV. It got a big laugh. “You have been teachers and mentors,” she said about her Senate colleagues. She may have come in to a body of skeptics, but she earned their respect.

“We have much to do over at Foggy Bottom… America’s best days are ahead of us.” – Secretary of State designate Hillary Clinton

Standing ovation.

Rumor has it that Vitter was in the men’s room at the time.

To add… Reader c chicago suggests in the comment section over “In the News” that if you’re a little miffed at Senator Diaper’s no vote, you give him a call: 202-224-4623.

The Canal Street Madam, someone who I talked to many times about her tribulations during Ashcroft’s witch hunt down there, is where it began. For those who don’t remember, right before 9/11 John Ashcroft had the FBI investigating Jeanette Maier, instead of looking for terrorists. The righteous never cease to amaze when it comes to priorities or hypocrisy.

Joe Biden’s speech was wonderful. He gave quite the historical rendition of his time in the
Senate on a personal level. Just terrific.
I will really miss Hillary as my Senator – big shoes to fill. She’s going to be an
exceptional SoS – very much needed. As for Vitter, he is an ass.

    Love Biden. Just love him.

Won’t be long, lynette, before you’ll have a new senator. Drum roll…..

Oh, Taylor…… I can hardly wait!! Ha ha. Can you imagine being in Governor Paterson’s shoes? Well, like I said, whoever s/he is, I am going to vote for him/her in 2010 anyway. I want Obama to have the greatest senate majority possible to get things done for the country.

I still think the best bet is Kennedy, though nothing would surprise me, that is, unless Paterson chooses one of the names down the food chain.

I missed Hilary’s speech did she sound sad? Couldn’t blame her for that but she is generating so much hope and excitement she has to know she made the right choice. I think she did anyway.

The excerpt in the post will give you an idea. She was wistful, but also proud and even funny, as usual.

Vitter is my Senator, unfortunately. I can’t stand him, especially after the response to my email I got pertaining to his opposition to new hate crimes laws.

At least my other Senator, Democrat Mary Landrieu, is much better, even if she does have to play to the middle on various issues a lot to get elected in the increasingly conservative state of Louisiana.

She did make the right choice, absolutely. And she is ready! She does love the Senate, though. She also likes a challenge and I think SoS is it.

Hey there. Yes, you’re exactly correct about Landrieu. It’s a tough balancing act, no doubt.

Yeah, Vitter must be tough to take!

I’m not sure if I ever mentioned this, but I’m a big fan of Hillary Rodham Clinton. And as Secretary of State, I am confident that she will change the world.

Senator Diaper Don Bitter was in the mens’ room during the vote , huh …

Hope his stance was not too wide, else we may have another Craig Scandal on our hands …

Yeah, Vitter must be tough to take!

If Vitter doesn’t like her or mistrusts her, isn’t that OK?

I mean, he’s just one guy. Who cares?

  17. secularhumanizinevoluter 16 January 2009 at 5:25 am #

I guess Senator/Secretary of State Clinton just dosen’t come up to the high moral standards of admitted hooker patron and diapor wearer Vitter. CAN I HEAR AN AAAAAAAAAAMEN!!!

  18. mattlsu87 16 January 2009 at 12:41 pm #

When I was texting my father about this (he’s a very Catholic, conservative Republican…a stereotype of Southeastern Louisiana) he said the Vitter’s vote was the only “principalled” (his spelling) vote. I found that ironic.
