Well, it’s been a long day. If you follow me on Twitter you know all about it.
Made longer by listening to Rush Limbaugh ramble on for over an hour without a cogent through line, with my friends over at Media Matters capturing a special moment. There’s nothing worse than an egotistical speaker rambling on and on because of self-indulgence thinking the audience is so enamored that it doesn’t matter if it doesn’t have a foundation, a thrust, or a single cogent message. It was hard to judge who was more frenzied, Rush or his audience.
Say what you will about Ann Coulter, whose way of expressing herself is usually as vile as it comes, but she’s far more in command of herself and her subject matter in front of an audience, even if she’s all entertainment and little substance. She could give Rush some pointers.
I’ll have a post up later on it, but right now I need to decompress. Thankful my trip home was quicker than the one there, that’s for sure. Still getting the hang of the area.
Sorry Taylor, but somebody had to do it…You just may have saved me 10 extra days in my life expectancy…

What can you say about Rush that hasn’t already been said? What I saw at CPAC was the true fascists of America. These are the people who if given the chance, would bring real fascism to this country. Watching the crowd shout USA, USA with their right hands in the air reminded me of something we have all seen in the past.

Irony is well and truly dead when an impotent,drug addicted, grotesquely obese coward can say that the “new castrati are men who have lost their…guts” with a straight face.
What a wonderful party these guys have now. CPAC crowd brings Romney back into favor. So the great leaders of the new repug party are, Romney, the guy who wears magic underwear, Palin, who can see Russia from her window, Joe the plumber, who isn’t a plumber and his name isn’t Joe, Rush, the drug addict comic and Ann (I’m a man)Coulter. If you were a movie screenwriter you couldn’t make this shit up, no one would believe it.

When you make some of the ridiculous statements and repeat repug talking points as you are prone to do it sort of makes you sound like you’ve been asleep since…Oh I donknow, anytime in the past eight years.
