I really love this quote from Politico:

“From stem cells to climate change, George W. Bush manipulated or ignored data and research for political purposes.”

I’m glad we don’t need to suffer this anymore, whether it’s logic or belief…

I agree, Lynnette, but it’s not logic. It’s belief.

And that I always respect, particularly when it differs from mine.

Belief is NOT logical. That’s why it’s called……belief. *haha

I’ve got my own beliefs.

I think the only difference I am pretty good at distinguishing between the two.

I listened to Buffett’s “take Obama to the Woodshed” videos today and pretty much agree. Obama is throwing too much at people, and the result is confusion/fear/etc.

I am quite comfy with the stem cell decision, although I do understand that this issue raises true pain in a great many citizens who really, really disagree.

I don’t share that pain. It’s a bunch of cells to me that wouldn’t ever have been a human.

Whatever….

I still liked Buffett’s comments best.

I am a believer in sometimes being aggressive, sometimes laying back.

It’s a matter of timing.

Yesterday on Hardball I listened to Rep Smith and Rep DeGette. Smith was lying, which DeGette pointed out. He said only 500 embryos were available but thrown away. DeGette saidf there were thousands (can’t remember the number she quoted). These people will go to many lengths to try and get their way.

I kinda’ wonder if Ronald Reagan himself might not be in favor of stem cell research considering Alzheimer’s is genetic.
