My dad owned a 1937 Studebaker in the early ’50s. It had a rumble seat. Did you ever sit squeezed in the rumble seat with two sisters? I remember going to Rochester, NY from Buffalo before the NYS Thruway was built. It was the most torturous ride I’ve ever been on. Couldn’t see a thing.

That Keira Knightley ad against domestic violence was so real; scared the hell out of me and made me want to puke. It might seem over the top but maybe that’s what society needs to see because we very seldom see the results of domestic violence but only hear about it after the person has been killed. I said person because I know men who have been abused by their wives/girlfriends and strange as it may seem, have been seriously injured.

Do you know how to post this – I downloaded it from the email – I can play it for me but I don’t know how to post it. The dog bone .wmv I found easily on line and posted it. This one I don’t know – but if you can figure out how to do it – I think it’ll make everyone smile and have a warm fuzzy moment.

it WAS torture, but I had three brother’s as well… but being the youngest of nine I was an easy target :)

  13. kris 03 April 2009 at 6:17 pm #

Oh good grief, how could you blame Obama for Binghamton?

AnninCA was here for a moment earlier today GeoT. Didn’t stay long.

  14. djjl 03 April 2009 at 6:19 pm #

I would think that the folks who gin up hysteria and xenophobia about immigrants are more likely to be worthy of blame.

  15. kris 03 April 2009 at 6:20 pm #

Well djjl according to some reports the shooter was laid off from IBM recently. That’s probably Obama’s fault.

it has to be stored somewhere on the internet. Either in your own storage or you can find the original source for the file and link to that. If it’s a .wmv file that’s video. You could upload it to YouTube (for example) and link to that.

  17. djjl 03 April 2009 at 6:22 pm #

I can upload it? Where do I begin?

  18. kris 03 April 2009 at 6:23 pm #

Bust out the popcorn HBO subscribers… according to the website, Joe the Plumber is going to be on Real Time with Bill Maher tonight.

It can’t be the real one, can it?

  25. kris 03 April 2009 at 6:34 pm #

Probably is maxadog. Heck, Levi Johnston was on Tyra Banks showing her his Bristol tatoo and talking about abstinence. Anything is possible anymore.

  26. maxadog 03 April 2009 at 6:35 pm #

Oh and for you HBO subscribers, if you haven’t checked out the No.1 Ladies Detective Agency series, you totally should.

It’s really enjoyable and Jill Scott does a great job. Beautiful scenery in Botswana.

he actually said Palin knew he and her daughter shared a bedroom… and it was an “equipment malfunction” that got the daughter pregnant… not sure exactly what that means, NO condom, or a faulty condom.

Hello, Tip O’Neill drinkers. Straight true-blue American bourbon tonight for me.

Tip O’Neill hour comes earlier since Taylor moved to DC.

I am concerned about the level of “time for a revolution!” rhetoric that’s spilling over. Even if 99% of these people are just blowing off steam, that leaves an awful lot of people who are thinking seriously. We get a serious, middle-of-the-road President and I’m hearing cries of socialist and marxist and fascist, in utmost serious. I don’t know how to fix it. Sigh.
