Compliments of Ed Morissey of Hot Air
Thought you might like to see my appearance with Matt Lewis on MSNBC earlier this week.
Ed might want to rethink this line: There are more death panels in ObamaCare than there are monopolies in health insurance.
Also, I’m not against health care reform, what Ed calls “Obamacare,” but what Dems have crafted so far doesn’t cut it.
He also takes issue with my use of the word monopoly, though it’s a small quibble. Insurance companies competing for MANDATED customers, when there isn’t an outsider involved that offers competition, because after all the insurance industry agrees on the rates they will offer, is monopolizing a system while Democrats are throwing people into it, because if they refuse the IRS will fine them.
And since I’ve got this video up, I’m looking for someone to capture my media appearances when they happen, as the person I used before isn’t available any longer. Contact me if you’re interested.

You might appreciate the comment I left over at Politics Daily:

Good show. And yes, it is amazing that they blatantly wrote you out over there.
Another dilemma: I’m full of them. LOL.
The very last thing I would like to see is the Republicans win on HCR and begin gloating. I personally believe that these people are evil and very bad for our country and should not be trusted with power of any kind. On the other hand, I believe this health care bill sucks and it should not pass. Obama should not win this way. He is better than this. It needs to fail for him to recognize that and to come to his senses.
Heya Ramsgate, and thanks.

Yep, it’s why I won’t sign on to the “kill the bill” contingent. Everything else you said is dead on the mark.
By the way, if people feel so inclined, I’d appreciate an UP rating on my comment @ the above link over at Politics Daily.
Consider it “upped”. Happy New Year Taylor — Thought you were great on MSNBC.
Thanks whitepaw!
Same to you, my friend. (I’ll have a New Year’s post a bit later that you won’t want to miss!)
UPityda UPityday my oh my what a wonderful day!
Jeez, THEY sure get a lot of comments over THERE don’t they?
heh-heh…
Taylor, you got your comeUPpance.
and it’s appreciated, Ramsgate.
Now, anyone want to talk about Rush???????
About Rush. . .
Knowing how BO loves currying the favor of those who despise him, I have been waiting with bated breath to hear that he rushed to the hospital to pay him a visit, or sent him his best wishes or some such thing. The pig Limbaugh would only gloat in the most condescending way about this anyway but it would not affect his behavior one iota. It would only further confirm BO’s weakness in his eyes. I wait on pins & needles. I know its coming.
Knowing how much secular and his band of ‘merry men and women’ love conspiracies can one, or any, of you tell me what the Council of Seven is? Now tell me how the Council of Seven and the Bilderberg Group are connected? (NOT the spiritual Counsel of Seven) Are any of you non-conspiracy folks familiar with the Georgia Guidestones? Henry Kissinger once said that “World population needs to be decreased by 50%.” Obama’s Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, John P. Holdren, wrote in his non-fiction book “Ecoscience, Resources, Enviornment”, “The Planetary Regime (take a guess) might be given responsibility for determining the optimum population for the world and for each region and for arbitrating various countries’ share within their regional limits. Control of population size might remain the responsibility of each government, but the Regime (take another guess) would have some power to enforce the agreed limits.” That is not science fiction. It comes from the mind of Obama’s Science czar. No wonder Obama couldn’t care less about a public option for health care with a guy like Holdren as his Science czar? Peace
Imhotep:

WOW!! Now that’s a death panel.
Ramsgate, what about the Council of Seven and the Bilderberg Group? Both Obama and Hillary attended their 2008 meeting in Virginia. Peace
Don’t know Imhotep. I have read about them and I don’t see any harm in any of this. I don’t put too much stock in conspiracy theories or secret societies. Man is tribal in nature and in spirit. I mean we have the Bloods & the Crips (?) C-Street, The Masons, Various Lodges, The Aspen Group, yada, yada, yada. People will always be joining. They are particularly partial to groups which suggest they are exclusive in some way. And the more exclusive the more suspicious we will be. my 2 cents.

HA!
“No wonder Obama couldn’t care less about a public option for health care with a guy like Holdren as his Science czar? ”
Don’t sleep imhopless. Don’t ever sleep, they come for you when you sleep. Hillary Clinton has commisioned a new design for a transdimmensional black heliocopter to be built in Area 51 so the council of seven can be silently flown to your bedroom and suck your brain out just as soon as the Kiaser finishes stealing all of your string! And this is all being financed by the Elders of Zion through carefully placed donations of geneticaly engenered food to take control of the Bildergerge Group at their last 4 meetings!!!
AND FER JEEEEBUS CRISPIES SAKES stay offa the GRASSY KNOL!!!
I DEF think President Obama should visit Rush with a BIG bouquet of flowers!
It would top the beer summit, secularh!
I know I’m late here, but I couldn’t help but note the “mandate I buy something from a private company – is that constitutional?” comment.
I think about that every time I pay my car insurance here in California.
That’s often the argument used, pmichael, but there is full competition in the car insurance market, with multiple companies competing in each state. Something that is certainly not the case with health insurance, which is the most personal of mandates of all.
