Some time ago someone mentioned that the WH was in a “tailspin” because of press articles. Well, you ain’t seen nothing yet. This man cannot stand to be despised. He needs to be adored. He will sell his soul to those whom he thinks despise him in exchange for their love. It seems that the people who abuse him most are the ones who he placates.

As long as he has polls showing that he can count on us no matter what he does, we should not expect one damn thing to change. We will always be lied to and screwed. But learn to walk away, put him in a real “tailspin” and we can achieve more than Big Pharma ever dreamed they could achieve.

I agree in general. But for me, Obama is turning out to be worse than I expected. Much worse.

Obama and Hillary would not be where they are today if they werte not accomplished politicians. And being “accomplished politicians” certainly does not include “honesty” in their resumes.

What is comical from the Hillary supporters is their luxurious situation of being able to opine about what “might have been”, without having the unfortunate disadvantage of history demonstrating whether or not their musings are on target, or just one more example of voter’s naivette and misplaced faith.

So nattering on about what Hillary MIGHT have achieved is all well and good, but like the rest of them, her daily rhetoric is designed to counter daily events and situations, and may or may not accurately expose her true intentions. Like Obama, her statements are manufactured to sail on the political winds. If we are to accuse these people of “lying”, as Taylor accuses Obama of doing, (and I agree, he’s a shameless liar), we must also look at our favored politicians, and ask if they aren’t doing the same thing. What about Hillary’s State Department denying military invlovment in Yemen, then reversing themselves two days later? She’ll lie as Secretary of State, but she wouldn’t have lied if she was President? Face it, lying is what they do. And if they aren’t pathological liars and opportunists, they aren’t allowed to ascend to the posts they hold.

If nothing else, the last decade should have convinced ANY reasonably intelligent voter that “we the people” is just a feel good slogan, and we stopped having any power quite a while ago. Perhaps Obama is a good thing. Perhaps now the klaxons will go off in the heads of the American voters, and we can drop this ridiculous wedge known as “right vs left” and get back to being one people with shared common interests.
