Romney Rising in Latest Gallup

On the evening of the Fox Florida debate Romney’s numbers are up. I’ve been in the minority, but I never considered Mitt Romney anything but the frontrunner, besieged perhaps, but remaining the guy to beat.

Rick Perry just doesn’t wear well. His stunt over Israel yesterday was another example of just what a loose cannon he is.

I’ll be twitter during the debate, so look forward to reading what you think.

More Voters Considering Romney Than Obama, Perry:

More registered voters say they would definitely vote for Mitt Romney or might consider doing so (62%) than say the same about his two main rivals in the 2012 presidential election, Democrat Barack Obama (54%) and Republican Rick Perry (53%).

If Republican voters who still have a brain that has not been deep fried want Romney, they had better get out and vote in the primaries; if not, it’s Perry.

It also depends on how many OFA’ers get out and vote in Republican primaries to mess things up. More busing of college kids to Iowa perhaps?
